Grip tape naturally degrades with repeated friction, sweat exposure, and moisture. The textured surface will gradually smooth out and lose tackiness over time, while the adhesive bond weakens with continuous use.
Edge fraying and discoloration are normal signs of wear. With regular play, expect several months of peak performance before needing a replacement.
Keep it cool, dry, and clean. After play, wipe the grip with a dry cloth to remove sweat and moisture. Avoid leaving your paddle in extreme heat or direct sunlight for extended periods, as this weakens the adhesive bond.
Store your paddle in a cover or bag to protect the grip from wear and damage.
We stand behind our product quality. If you're not satisfied with your grip tape due to a defect or issue, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll work with you to make it right. All Luma grip tapes include a 90-day limited warranty covering manufacturing defects such as premature adhesive failure or material separation.
